Fraud Prevention Guidelines

  • SIX does not solicit investments. If you are approached with investment opportunities using our name or branding, it is likely a scam.
  • Be cautious of in-person scams. Fraudsters may impersonate representatives of SIX to arrange meetings and solicit fraudulent investments.
  • SIX does not offer mobile trading applications. Any app claiming to be affiliated with SIX for deposits, asset purchases or cryptocurrency trading is fraudulent.
  • SIX will never request money from job candidates. Beware of fake job offers that request payments for training, IT equipment or security deposits.

How to Identify Fraudulent Communications

Suspicious messages often include:

  • Unsolicited contact via email, social media or messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.)
  • Poor grammar or spelling in communications
  • Requests for payments via wire transfers, cryptocurrency or gift cards
  • Promises of guaranteed high returns with little risk
  • Urgent requests for personal or financial information

What to Do If You Have Been Targeted

  • Do not respond or provide personal information. It can expose you to identity theft, financial loss, and further manipulation by scammers.
  • Contact your bank immediately if you have made a payment to a suspected scam.
  • Report the incident to law enforcement in your jurisdiction.
  • Notify SIX about fraudulent activity using our official communication channel: Security Operations Center (SOC).
