Trading Simulation in a Realistic Stock Exchange Environment

In Traderion's trading simulation course, we offer all attendees as well as prospective traders the opportunity to acquire knowledge and simulate trading in a realistic stock exchange environment. During the training, participants will learn the specific order types of the Swiss Stock Exchange and how to use them in the system. You will spend half a day actively participating in trading sessions using your own trades and measuring your own performance. Immerse yourself in the world of the exchange trader, market maker or day trader!

  • Young or aspiring traders or other employees of SIX Swiss Exchange Participants or Reporting Members (e.g. back office employees, analysts or relationship managers)
  • Auditors, consultants or software providers
  • Risk and Controlling Managers
  • Or anyone interested in understanding the stock exchange
Course Duration 1/2 day
Cost CHF 200 per person, including training materials 
Location SIX premises in Zurich

Please note that cancellations or postponements must be submitted in writing to Member Education at least one week prior to the training date, otherwise no reimbursement of the fee can be guaranteed.
On demand this course can also be offered to universities and school classes. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Member Education.

  • As an equity trader, market maker or day-trader, participant get assigned own trading lines
  • Using different order types and order books (lit and dark) you can enter your own trades during auctions and continuous trading. Based on Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) the own performance and the own P / L can be analysed at any time
  • At the end of each equity trading session, each participant is able to measure the  own performance as compared to the one of other participants as well as to the market.

3-4 trading sessions will be run during the 1/2 day training.
