On SIX Swiss Exchange, trading turnover across all segments has increased by 18.3% compared to the previous month and reached CHF 116.8 billion in March. Since the start of the year, total turnover is up 24.8%, having reached CHF 311.6 billion. At month end, the blue chip index SMI stood at 12,598 points which is 3.1% lower than in February, resulting in a year-to-day performance of 8.6%. In March, nxtAssets joined as the latest issuer of Exchange-Traded Products. With its two new products investors now have a choice of 398 crypto products on SIX Swiss Exchange.

On BME Exchange total trading turnover in March reached EUR 42.7 billion, an increase of 9.6% over February and 18.8% over March 2024. The YTD total of 115.6 bn is 15.5% higher than in the previous year. Meanwhile, the IBEX35 reached 13,135.0 points (-1.6% MOM); since the start of the year, the Spanish blue chip index is up 13.3%. On the listing side, BME Exchange welcomed three companies to the BME Scaleup market in March: Simply Solar, Better Consultants and JHG Domus SOCIMI.
