SIX Swiss Exchange recorded 17% more turnover in September than in August. This increase is mainly due to a «Triple Witching», which lead to increased trading activity on 20 September with the simultaneous expiry of options and futures. The equities segment saw particularly strong growth, with an increase of 21% compared to the previous month. After 3 out of 4 quarters, total trading turnover is 18% higher than in the previous year.
