At CHF 97 bn, SIX Swiss Exchange recorded 2.4% more trading turnover in November than in October. The equities segment grew by 6%, ETFs by 16% and structured products by over 55%. Overall, annual turnover totalled 1,104 bn, thus already exceeding the previous year's total of 1,046 bn. The number of transactions in November was also higher than in October, up 1.8% and totalling 4.15 million. 

Rapidly rising cryptocurrencies led to strong trading volumes in products with crypto as an underlying on the Swiss stock exchange. In November, over CHF 910 mn were traded and almost 40,000 transactions were concluded. Since the beginning of the year, trading turnover in crypto products has totalled around CHF 3.8 bn – significantly more than in the two previous years combined. At almost 211,000 transactions, there have already been more than twice as many trades as the previous year's figure of around 86,000. 

Welcome Sunrise, Aberdn and Robeco

SIX Swiss Exchange also welcomed new issuers in November. The listing of Sunrise on 15 November shone particularly brightly. With an opening price of CHF 44.75 per Class A share, the market capitalisation was around CHF 3.2 billion. In the product segments, the choice for investors increased with the first products from Aberdn and Robeco, which were warmly welcomed as ETF issuers.
