In July 2023, trading turnover on SIX Swiss Exchange reached CHF 66.5 bn, 14.0% less than in the same month last year. With 3,232,611 transactions, trading activity was 9.7% lower than in June. Since the start of 2023, turnover reached CHF 622.0 bn, over 20% less compared to last year. With 27.8 million, the number of trades fell by 27.8%. The Swiss blue-chip index SMI rose by 0.3%, finishing the month at 11,309.3 points; year-to-date it is up by 5.4%.
