1 April 2022 marks the newest chapter in the success story of ETFs on SIX Swiss Exchange which has experienced remarkable growth over the past 21 years. With 4 newly launched iShares ETFs, the 1,600 ETF threshold has been reached. In total, 5 actively managed ETFs and 35 new passively managed ETFs have been listed on SIX Swiss Exchange since the beginning of 2022.

ETFs: A Success Story
The number of ETF providers at SIX has reached 27 - including Global X ETFs ICAV and Tabula ICAV who joined as new ETF issuers in 2021. An overview of the new ETF listings can be found here. A high level of market quality is ensured by 16 registered market makers who are constantly providing liquidity into the SIX Swiss Exchange order books. Turnover in the ETF segment reached CHF 35 billion in the first quarter of 2022 – an increase of 49.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
