2 May saw the highest turnover on a single trading day during the month, with securities worth a total volume of CHF 12.3 billion changing hands. 2 May was also the trading day on which the highest number of transactions was conducted, at 285,049. The stock that generated the highest turnover during the reporting month was once again Nestle N, which was also the most-traded security.
