About the SXI Switzerland Sustainability 25
The SXI Switzerland Sustainability 25 index measures the development of Swiss companies, which are considered sustainable according to a measurement framework provided by Inrate.
The index is built out of the SMI Expanded and has a fixed composition of 25 components, which is reviewed annually in September. The components are weighted by their free float market capitalization and capped at 15%.
This index has become increasingly attractive for asset managers and investors for funds and structured products, as it is a diversified index containing the 25 most sustainable companies (out of the 50 largest and most liquid Swiss equities).
On September 30, 2008, the SXI Switzerland Sustainability 25 index was standardized at 100 points.
