CEO SIX

Jos Dijsselhof joined SIX in January 2018 as CEO. He holds degrees in computer science and business administration, and has a long track record in international management in the financial sector. He has previously held positions at ABN Amro Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and ANZ Australia & New Zealand Banking Group in various countries including Hong Kong and Singapore. His most recent role was Chief Operating Officer (2014–June 2017) and CEO ad interim (2015) at Euronext in Amsterdam.

Head Securities Services, SIX

Javier Hernani has been Head Securities Services at SIX since January 2021. In June 2020, he assumed the role of Head BME after the takeover of BME by SIX. The Spanish citizen holds degrees in economics and business management from Universidad Comercial de Deusto and in european studies from Brugges European School. Before joining BME in 2002, he held the position as Deputy General Manager of the Bilbao Stock Exchange. Previously Javier Hernani worked as European Financial Sector consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Brussels and as CFO at Norbolsa, a Spanish broker.

Head Commercials Securities Services, SIX

Marcus Harréus leads the Commercials organisation within Securities Services. In this capacity, he leads all of the relationship management, product management and sales activities for the post-trade area. He also heads the legal entity SIX SIS AG which provides settlement and custody services.
He joined SIX 2013 and prior to SIX, Marcus had a long and varied career in the financial sector. 

Head Clearing Services, SIX

Laura Bayley is originally a lawyer and has extensive experience in regulatory topics and projects related to financial market infrastructures. She has worked at SIX since 2016. On 01 May 2022, Laura took over the management of SIX x-clear at a legal entity level and continues to be responsible for regulatory and governance topics across BME and SIX on a functional level within the area of clearing. 

Head Domestic Custody & TR, SIX

Jesús Benito has an Economic Degree from Complutense University in Madrid. He passed the oppositions to join Banco de España in 1988. In 2000, he joined BME. Jesús is Head of IBERCLEAR, the Spanish CSD, since 2006 and Chairman of REGIS-TR since April 2022. Jesús Benito is also member of the Management Committees of SIX Securities Services and BME.

Area Head Content & Product Management, SIX

Shai Popat leads the Content, Product and Commercial groups for Financial Information at SIX. They specialise in delivery platforms including desktops, feeds and cloud, delivering core reference data on securities, prices, corporate events, tax and regulatory data, as well as ESG and indices.  He has over 25 years of experience in and around product management and business development, having led product, sales and commercial groups for various market data companies, including ICE Data, Interactive Data and Refinitiv.

Business Head Digital Securities, SDX

Marco Kessler joined SDX in October 2018 and brings 14 years of experience in capital markets and digital transformation. Prior to SDX, Marco delivered digital transformation programs for global Swiss banks. Marco specializes in management and technology consulting, particularly in business architecture for financial services and IT technology strategy. He plays a key role in building SDX’s platform and driving the adoption of digital assets in capital markets and financial infrastructures.
