The extended Swiss Code of Obligations requires many listed companies now to report non-financial information for the first time in 2024 for the financial year 2023. Additionally, this non-financial information has to be approved by the board of directors as well as by the companies’ shareholders at the annual general meeting. These new requirements mean that non-financial reporting content and processes have to be adjusted, which creates challenges like:
- What is the minimum content required according to Swiss legislation?
- What are the developments in the reporting environment in the EU and how do they affect companies listed in Switzerland?
- How could an ideal reporting process look like?
- In what format should the required non-financial information be reported?
- What is best practice?
These and other challenges will be addressed in this sustainability reporting Best in Class session.
Take the opportunity to learn from as well as discuss with our experts and your colleagues from other companies.
